Round Table Lodge of Lincolnshire No. 8240

Round Table Lodge, founded in 1968 in Horncastle, was created by former Round Tablers seeking to combine the camaraderie of the Round Table movement with the values of Freemasonry. While many members are former Tablers, others come from similar backgrounds—such as volunteering, charity work, or careers in the military, construction, farming, finance, or law—that reflect shared values of teamwork, fellowship, and community service. The Lodge meets formally six times a year on a Tuesday evening, with additional informal “boys lodges” to practice ceremonies. Social activities play a key role, including Sunday lunches with partners, curry nights and biennial gatherings with other Round Table Lodges across England. Members, though spread across Lincolnshire, regularly connect through casual meetups like walks and pub lunches, maintaining a relaxed and friendly spirit.
